About Us

We're just a bunch of guys (and the occasional girl) who enjoy playing pickup football.

This group is all about having fun, meeting new people and getting to play some football. People of all skill levels are welcome to come play. All games are two-hand touch and players may not wear spiked cleats. Teams are created on the spot each week. As long as there is a (somewhat) even number of players on both sides, we're good to go.

History

Flaming Football is a weekly tradition that started in Washington, DC as the brain child of Ashton Giese in July of 2006. The group is meant as a way for
gay guys in the nation's capital to get together for a friendly game.
